About Your Job:

As a Planning & Technical Records Officer you will ensure fleet is airworthy through the management of all work order packages for line, base and unscheduled maintenance ,

You will also maintain Qatar Executive and contracting operators 'aircraft history records  and related aircraft maintenance documentation in accordance with Qatar Civil Aviation Authority ( QCAA ) and operators' national authority regulations and procedures to maintain aircraft resale value.

Key accountability  include:

Operational

You will ensure production of weekly maintenance forecast in order to maintain tracking of due maintenance and issue work order to part 145 maintenance organizations and assess and review work orders completed for completeness, correctness and full compliance.

You will also track completed Aircraft Technical /Journey log / cabin log /Engine logs for differed defects, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events in order to maintain regulatory compliance and aircraft resale value.

You will also prepare and review  deferred item list to track open deferred items

You will be responsible to ensure aircraft documents and records are well maintained and archived in accordance with established procedures to ensure historical records preserved are accurate.

You will compile and review documentation for ARC and CMR to support certification renewal

Development

You take responsibility for ongoing personal development and growth of expertise

You will train and develop other employees for proper succession planning and risk management.

You will assist in the response to any emergency or major operational disruption affecting Qatar Executive.

About You:

Qualifications:

Essential

Relevant college or University qualification to minimum Bachelor's level or Equivalent

Good Knowledge of English Language written and spoken

Preferred

EASA part 66 license or Equivalent 

Degree  in Electronics, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering

Previous Experience

Essential 

Specialist – Minimum 4 years of job related experience required

Experience working with maintenance tracking software 

Preferred 

Previous experience in business aircraft operations and/or maintenance

5 years Planning function in an EASA part M or  Part 145 organization or Equivalent

5 years in Aircraft Maintenance in an EASA part M Or Part 145  organisation or Equivalent

Shortlisting of candidates : Shortlisting of candidates for written test will be done based on details in the form if they have completed AME Diploma or have completed 5th Semester in AME Diploma.

Written Test : A written test will be conducted for shortlisted candidates for OJT in Jet Airways Mumbai Hangar. Written test will consist of multiple choice questions. Candidates will be shortlisted only after they clear the written test.

Training Fees : Training cost of INR 30,000 will be applicable to all selected candidates. Training cost will have to be paid via Demand Draft on the first day of On the Job Training on the name of Jet Airways (I) Ltd. This amount is non-refundable.

Purpose

• Ensure that removed components are correctly handled, labeled and blanked.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment
• Completes all associated documentation prior to the end of shift
• Reports immediately any maintenance error to immediate supervision.
• Comply fully with any maintenance error review board
• Able to work under harsh conditions and shift work whilst maintaining HF awareness

Desired Profile

• Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance. 
• Minimum 2 years experience in Aircraft Maintenance fields.
• Good English communication skills. 
• Age between 23-45 years. 
• A pro-active and interactive attitude with the flexibility required for working within a small organization.
